Heart Health Panel

This Panel combines 3 tests which can be used to assess a person's risk for cardiovascular disease, heart attack, or stroke. The Comprehensive Heart Health Panel includes a Lipid Panel, C-Reactive Protein High Sensitivity, and Homocysteine test.
A Lipid Panel is the standard and most commonly ordered cholesterol test. It measures Total Cholesterol, LDL, HDL, Triglycerides, and VLDL. A CRP High Sensitivity test measures a protein which can be a risk factor for events like a heart attack or stroke. Elevated Homocysteine levels can increase risk for blood clots as well as heart attack or stroke.
