• Must be 19 years or older in Connecticut

Who Should NOT Get the Tdap Vaccine

Do NOT receive this vaccine if you:

• Had a life-threatening allergic reaction to a previous tetanus, diphtheria, or pertussis vaccine
• Have a severe allergy to any component of the vaccine
• Experienced coma or prolonged seizures within 7 days of a prior DTP/DTaP/Tdap dose (unless another cause was identified)

📌 These individuals may still be eligible for the Td vaccine

Talk to Your Doctor If You:

• Have a history of seizures or neurological conditions
• Had severe pain or swelling after prior vaccines
• Have had Guillain-Barré Syndrome (GBS)
• Are feeling unwell on the day of vaccination
